The abundant life! This is how John (from Salina, KS) would describe his experience with Jesus in his life. He has two sons, six grandchildren and one amazing great grandson. John is a hunter and fisherman, and loves to drive anything that goes fast! God moved John from pastoring full-time for 18 years in Carbondale, CO, and now is thrilled with the certainty that God has called him to New Hope.
Rodney moved with his wife JoyceAnn to South Fork in 2008 after a career of ranching in Texas. Rodney & JoyceAnn own and operate Alpine Trails RV Park and Elk Country Jeep Rentals in South Fork, CO. He enjoys anything outdoors, especially hunting and fly fishing. Rodney teaches an adult class on Sunday mornings.
Moe Bond grew up in the Monte Vista farming community where he continues to raise potatoes, wheat and canola. His two sons help with the farming, and his daughter is an elementary teacher in Fort Collins. Moe and his wife Mary can be found most Sundays leading in worship, and love spending time in the great outdoors.
Dan and his wife Melissa moved to South Fork in 2019 from Canyon, Texas. Dan retired from owner/ manager of 2 J Motor Co after 29 years. They own and manage Rio River Retreat Cabin - a group retreat venue. Their daughter and son-in-law live in Littleton, and their son is studying at Colorado Christian University . Dan loves most activities that South Fork has to offer. Dan and Melissa also teach an adult Sunday school class at New Hope.
Brad and his wife Latressa are retired educators from the piney woods of East Texas. They moved to South Fork in the spring of 2019 after visiting the area for over 30 years. Like many folks of the area outdoor activities and the peaceful environment were a couple of the reasons they decided to make South Fork their permanent home.
